The 20th Session of the Committee of Experts on Public Administration, supported by UN DESA/DPIDG, will discuss key institutional aspects in achieving sustainable development with particular reference to the COVID-19 pandemic response and recovery. These include strengthening the analytical basis for reform policies, integrating the SDGs into national and subnational budgeting and financial management, sustainable public procurement, impact of the pandemic on essential workers in the public sector, and building strong institutions in conflict-affected countries. The Committee will adopt an input to the HLPF and a draft resolution for ECOSOC. The 20th CEPA Session will take place virtually from 12 to 21 April 2020 and will be streamed live via UN Web TV.
