Americas Regional Workshop on the Review of the Standards of Excellence for Public Administration Education and Training

The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) and the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) are organizing a Regional Workshop for the Review of the Standards of Excellence for Public Administration Education and Training in the Americas (to be conducted in English). The workshop will take place from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm New York time on 23 January 2024.

The purpose of the event is to gather inputs from the Americas on the review and/or update of the Standards of Excellence for Public Administration Education and Training and to align them to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals. The Standards were originally established in 2008 before the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was adopted by 193 Member States.
