UN DESA, through its Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG), is organizing a Workshop on “Changing Mindsets in Saint Lucia for Innovation and Digital Transformation” to be held in Saint Lucia from July 9 to 10, 2024, in partnership with The United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), Caribbean Centre for Development Administration (CARICAD), and the UN Resident Coordinator Office for Barbados & the Eastern Caribbean. The workshop is organized within the framework of the Development Account project on Innovation Digital Government Transformation and Changing Mindsets in the Caribbean SIDS.
This workshop aims to foster discussions on key issues, challenges, and opportunities for innovation and digital transformation in Saint Lucia, offering support to government officials and stakeholders. Additionally, it will involve a preliminary assessment, identification of gaps, and formulation of a Road Map for project implementation, emphasizing changing mindsets to support the Saint Lucia Civil Service’s digital transformation priorities. The meeting will bring together senior government officials, private sector leaders, and other relevant stakeholders to discuss innovation and digital transformation in alignment with Saint Lucia’s national development plan.
