This compendium, prepared by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), aims to capture emerging trends in digital responses of UN Member States against the COVID-19 pandemic along with other digital government initiatives and provide a preliminary analysis of their main features. These cases are shared for exchange of information so that Member States can learn from each other and possibly create new partnerships.

4. A bill to amend the law on the Procedure of the Plenary Session of the State Great Khural of Mongolia was adopted by the Parliament of Mongolia on April 9, 2020. So Parliament members are able to attend a virtual discussion, keeping their distance that recommended by the professional organizations in the state of an emergency situation as stated in the Law on Disasters.
5. The Public service delivery e-Kiosk machines started using cards instead of cash in the country. The Government of Mongolia has installed 110 Public service delivery machines in the urban and rural areas. These machines have been issuing around 31 public services including types of registration references, types of tax references to citizens and businesses 24/7 timely.
