This compendium, prepared by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), aims to capture emerging trends in digital responses of UN Member States against the COVID-19 pandemic along with other digital government initiatives and provide a preliminary analysis of their main features. These cases are shared for exchange of information so that Member States can learn from each other and possibly create new partnerships.

Launch the Stay at Home program that subsidizes 1.5 million Dominican households, identified as poor or vulnerable and mainly informally employed. The program will transfer RD$5,000 pesos (US$100)per month to 811,003 families who currently benefit from another government origram called Eat First. In addition, coverage will be increased to include 688,997 new households over a 2-month period.
The program will also make an additional transfer reaching up to RD$7,000 to households with a member over 60 years or with health preconditions that makes him/her vulnerable to COVID-19.
