This compendium, prepared by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), aims to capture emerging trends in digital responses of UN Member States against the COVID-19 pandemic along with other digital government initiatives and provide a preliminary analysis of their main features. These cases are shared for exchange of information so that Member States can learn from each other and possibly create new partnerships.

Ministry of Post and Telecommunications together with local software development company, developed an official COVID19 website www.covid19.gov.la and mobile application call LaoKYC for report our status to pandemic center and Ministry of public health . LaoKYC allows the residents to submit address location electronically, follow the news, report status, and get informed if an outbreak occurs. in addition, E-government center, under ministry of Post and Telecommunications also providing some E-application such as: E-Office, G-Chat, G-Share and video conferencing system to all ministries and government offices to support their work from home as well as to have a video conference meeting with other organizations abroad.
