This compendium, prepared by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), aims to capture emerging trends in digital responses of UN Member States against the COVID-19 pandemic along with other digital government initiatives and provide a preliminary analysis of their main features. These cases are shared for exchange of information so that Member States can learn from each other and possibly create new partnerships.

a portal for the Digital Office of Administrative Correspondence was created to allow administrations and administrators to file their administrative correspondence remotely in exchange for a digital acknowledgement. An electronic administrative correspondence service has also been set up to manage incoming and outgoing mail, as well as those exchanged between internal services at the central and decentralized levels of administrations. Also, an electronic paraphernalist service has been set up to enable administrations to dematerialize administrative documents, electronic signature and workflow management. All public administrations without exception will be able to benefit free of charge from its solutions in addition to close and personalized assistance according to the specific needs of each other, in parallel training is provided remotely to help users to take full advantage of these solutions.
