Digital transformation of services, especially for vulnerable populations or people transformed due to the Pandemic.

This compendium, prepared by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), aims to capture emerging trends in digital responses of UN Member States against the COVID-19 pandemic along with other digital government initiatives and provide a preliminary analysis of their main features. These cases are shared for exchange of information so that Member States can learn from each other and possibly create new partnerships.

Prioritizing the automation of public services aimed at vulnerable populations or in support of Pandemic, among which mention should be made: registering a Brazilian with a canceled flight abroad; request emergency financial assistance from the Federal Government; communicate collective vacations to companies; present a demand to the Ministry of Agriculture to ensure supply during the fight against the coronaVirus; register or consult a company that supplies the necessary inputs to fight the coronaVirus; register collective work mediation; enable rural producers to receive compensation from the federal government due to the sacrifice of animals affected by disease; import goods for research via the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development; among others.
In addition, technological integrations of new services are being carried out with provisioning of accounts with Facial biometrics, integrations of virtual counters, such as Correios etc.
