This compendium, prepared by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), aims to capture emerging trends in digital responses of UN Member States against the COVID-19 pandemic along with other digital government initiatives and provide a preliminary analysis of their main features. These cases are shared for exchange of information so that Member States can learn from each other and possibly create new partnerships.

Set virtual sessions to:
• Promote ICT adoption, and encourage the usage of information technology among SME using modern technologies
• Support the development of Qatar’s Knowledge Based Economy by developing and growing a sustainable and innovative ICT Eco System in SME scale enterprises
• Help SMEs to connect with the right service providers and begin the business Digital Transformation Journey. • The program focuses on three specific areas: (cloud, ecommerce and web presence • Providing support during the COVID-19 crisis with SME linkage for immediate digitalization and targeted top sectors (groceries, pharmacies, sanitizers, etc)
•Conducted online interactive sessions and webinars on (Work & Tech in The Post-Pandemic World Webinar, how is tech enabling industry, etc), and approached and connected with over 300+ SMEs)
• Deliver digital industry forums online to discuss challenges and best solutions during pandemic, and develop best strategies and planning
