Fighting Covid-19 warnings and rumors through SFDA app

This compendium, prepared by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), aims to capture emerging trends in digital responses of UN Member States against the COVID-19 pandemic along with other digital government initiatives and provide a preliminary analysis of their main features. These cases are shared for exchange of information so that Member States can learn from each other and possibly create new partnerships.

Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), has an app. Through this app, user can view and share the latest warnings, rumors and news issued by the authority. During Covid-19 SFDA published a lot of warning regarding a lot of things related to Covid-19 such of Hand Sanitizers, or soap with full details of these products which can be seen easily through their app with notification feature. Also they have provided feedback about some rumors about Covid-19 beside any news related to Covid-19 Drugs.
