This compendium, prepared by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), aims to capture emerging trends in digital responses of UN Member States against the COVID-19 pandemic along with other digital government initiatives and provide a preliminary analysis of their main features. These cases are shared for exchange of information so that Member States can learn from each other and possibly create new partnerships.

It is a platform to assess the maturity of technological solutions to the pandemic. The platform aim at connecting ideas and evaluating the maturity of technological solutions related to the challenges imposed by the pandemic. Information and practice sharing (with public and/or internal), Real-time data collection, sharing, and analysis, Crowdsourcing solutions .
It will form a database of researchers and their research, as well as project developers. Anyone can participate by registering a research, development or innovation on the website www.mctic.gov.br. These solutions are important to help to identify existing technological ideas and solutions, their respective degrees of technological development (research, development and / or commercial exploitation) and the best applications.
