Kartu Prakerja (pre-employment card)

This compendium, prepared by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), aims to capture emerging trends in digital responses of UN Member States against the COVID-19 pandemic along with other digital government initiatives and provide a preliminary analysis of their main features. These cases are shared for exchange of information so that Member States can learn from each other and possibly create new partnerships.

Kartu Pekerja (pre-employment card) is a competency improvement policy in the form of financial assistance intended to job seekers, laid-off workers, or workers who need competency improvement.
The registration, motivation test, and basic competency test are conducted by online portal system. Participants may select their training courses and join through online trainings.
This program is collaborated with private companies that provide online training services such as Skill Academy by Ruangguru, Maubelajarapa, Pintaria, Sekolahmu, Pijar Mahir. In terms of payment, this program is collaborated with BNI46, OVO, LinkAja, and GoPay.
