Mathainoumestospiti.gov.gr: Platform with digital tools that allows distance learning and communication between teachers and students

This compendium, prepared by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), aims to capture emerging trends in digital responses of UN Member States against the COVID-19 pandemic along with other digital government initiatives and provide a preliminary analysis of their main features. These cases are shared for exchange of information so that Member States can learn from each other and possibly create new partnerships.

Digital platform that allows for distance learning and communication between teachers and students, in order for students and teachers to maintain close contact. Distance education is built on three areasː 1.synchronous e-learning : Liveteaching through online platforms, which users can access through computers, tablets, mobile phones, or even landlines 2. asynchronous e-learning: Asynchronous communication, homework and feedback, 3. educational television in collaboration with the Institute of Educational Policy (IEP) and the National Broadcasting Channel (ERT), the Ministry proceeded to the production of educational TV episodes.
