online system for obtaining electronic permission for pedestrians and vehicles to travel in Osh and Jalal-Abad cities for the period of state of emergency

This compendium, prepared by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), aims to capture emerging trends in digital responses of UN Member States against the COVID-19 pandemic along with other digital government initiatives and provide a preliminary analysis of their main features. These cases are shared for exchange of information so that Member States can learn from each other and possibly create new partnerships.

The online system allows pedestrians and vehicles to remotely apply and receive electronic permission to travel from 7:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m and during curfew hours. To apply, individuals need to fill out an electronic form indicating the purpose of receipt and the period, as well as attach the necessary documents. The page with the form will display the status of the application (pending, approval, not immediately approved). In order not to lose the page with the application and electronic permission after approval, citizens should copy the link or download the QR code.
