Remote Working Support for Government Agencies

This compendium, prepared by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), aims to capture emerging trends in digital responses of UN Member States against the COVID-19 pandemic along with other digital government initiatives and provide a preliminary analysis of their main features. These cases are shared for exchange of information so that Member States can learn from each other and possibly create new partnerships.

Saudi e-Government Program (Yesser) published Remote working guidelines (Work from home) and Remote working support request, through Chief Information Officers Portal (https://cio.gov.sa/ar/Pages/RemoteWork.aspx), where all Saudi Government CIOs can view the remote work guidelines, tips and instructions for achieving effective communication during a remote meeting. Also Business Continuity Guide Report for government agencies and during remote working. In addition to that, CIOs can send request for Yesser in case any support need to work remotely with the required efficiency and effectiveness.
