This compendium, prepared by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), aims to capture emerging trends in digital responses of UN Member States against the COVID-19 pandemic along with other digital government initiatives and provide a preliminary analysis of their main features. These cases are shared for exchange of information so that Member States can learn from each other and possibly create new partnerships.

Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) has launched a package of initiatives to alleviate economic and financial implications facing the official accounting and auditing community. Initiatives included:
- Postponing the payment of annual subscriptions for accounting and auditing offices and companies until the end of 2020.
- Hours for continuing professional education are not required for 2020.
- Suspension of the membership guidelines related to write-off and suspension of membership, with regard to non-commitment of payment and continuing professional education points until the end of 2020.
- Extending the period of submitting the annual information of the accounting and auditing offices and companies until the end of the curfew period. Authority continues to provide its services through electronic channels, which include, for example (Training, Membership and professional registration, Licenses, Issuing professional and training certificates, ..)
