This compendium, prepared by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), aims to capture emerging trends in digital responses of UN Member States against the COVID-19 pandemic along with other digital government initiatives and provide a preliminary analysis of their main features. These cases are shared for exchange of information so that Member States can learn from each other and possibly create new partnerships.

Tawakolna (Covid-19 KSA), is the official application approved by the Ministry of Health to reduce the spread of Corona Virus, and was developed by Saudi National Information Center.
The application provides real-time and direct information about the number of cases of corona infection in the Kingdom, as it helps in the early detection of cases of suspicion of infected people. It allows citizens and residents to request emergency exit permits in times of curfew imposed on some cities and neighborhoods due to the outbreak of the Corona Virus , And follow-up cases of requesting exit during the curfew time, and warning users if they come near endemic or isolated areas due to the outbreak of the epidemic in it, and through the application can report cases suspected of being infected with Corona Virus to help individuals obtain medical assistance.
