UN DESA/DPIDG and the D-8 Organization will organize a Capacity Building Workshop on Implementing New Approaches to E-government for SDG Implementation. This Workshop will serve as a continuation of the online Workshop conducted in March, particularly to address the challenges presented during that Workshop. The workshop is designed to build the capacity of relevant officials, who are responsible for shaping the digital transformation policy, for answering to the ever-growing challenges they face in implementing their respective digital transformation agendas. It also aims to enhance the capacity of public officials in digital government skills, strengthening collaboration between government agencies, and promoting of production of indigenous ICT access for public officials and the educational sector. The workshop will take place in a face-to-face setting in Istanbul, Türkiye, from 17 to 18 November 2022. More information is available here.
