Fiji is currently developing a contact tracing application under the digitalFIJI initiative which will augment the current contact tracing effort. This mobile app logs close proximity contacts and is based off the Bluetrace protocol developed by the Singapore Government’s Digital Services which is behind TraceTogether. The open source code is being worked on by the Fijian Government and is aimed to be released for testing shortly.
