Within the framework of the project titled "Building capacities for promoting the presence and leadership of women within public institutions at national and local levels," funded by the Government of Italy, the Regional Workshop is organized by the Division for Public Institutions and Digital government of UN DESA in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). This Workshop aims to delve into strategies, policy changes and institutional reforms aimed at fostering gender equality across all tiers of public administration. The event will serve as a platform for collaboration and the sharing of experiences and will aim to catalyze the implementation of gender-inclusive policies within public administration in the project countries as well as other countries across the Africa region.
