The Association E-Enfance’s mission is to protect minors on the Internet.
Their means of action is through preventive education of children, parents and professionals as well as the 3018, a national number for young victims of digital violence.
Recognized as a public utility, the e-Enfance Association has been the reference for the protection of Children on the Internet and for digital citizenship education since 2005. Approved by the Ministry of National Education, it offers interventions in school environments, training on the risks and good uses of the Internet. Free, anonymous and confidential, 3018 is the new national short number for adolescents, parents and their children on all questions related to the digital uses of young people. The 3018 is accessible by phone 6 days a week from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., on 3018.fr by live chat, via Messenger and WhatsApp. A trusted third party, trusted flagger on social networks, the 3018 has a unique intervention capacity in France via an accelerated reporting procedure to obtain the deletion of illegal content or accounts within a few hours. Agreed with the Pharos platform (internet-signalement.gouv.fr), the Digital Brigade of the National Gendarmerie (gendarmerie.interieur.gouv.fr) and 119-Enfance en danger, 3018 is at the heart of the protection system of childhood.
