WSIS+20 Virtual Stakeholder Consultations

Informal Interactive WSIS stakeholder consultation on the review of implementation of the outcomes of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS+ 20)
9 June 2025 at 8:00 p.m. and 10 June 2025 at 10:00 a.m. (EST), Virtual | Online registration by 5 June at 11:59 p.m. EST required.

Registration is now closed for the WSIS+20 virtual stakeholder consultation sessions:

  • Session 1 - 9 June 2025 8pm EST for stakeholders from East and South Asia, Oceania, and the Americas
  • Session 2 - 10 June 2025 10am EST for stakeholders from Africa, West Asia, Europe, and the Americas  

 Guiding questions for the consultation:

  1. To what extent and how has the vision of a "people-centred, inclusive and development-oriented Information Society" evolved over the past 20 years since WSIS?
  2. What are the priorities and challenges to the implementation of WSIS outcomes today?
  3. How can cooperation through the WSIS mechanisms, including multistakeholder dialogue and recently adopted the Global Digital Compact, enhance coherence in digital governance?
