The “BeAware Bahrain”, a free Mobile App built using Open source, cloud and GPS technologies, is deployed along with a tamper proof & Bluetooth enabled bracelet to share real time-tracking information of self-isolated cases in Bahrain and to notify individuals in case they approach any active or suspected case. The App supported the Kingdom’s leadership in sustaining the health care system and pursuing effectiveness while taking informed swift decisions to maintain the spread of the Virus; such as the work from home policies, activation of virtual meetings, expanding e-learning across all educational institutions, and mandating the online government and the commercial services replacing physical counters and shops. The App accounted as a reliable source of data to build public indicators that facilitated the allocation of Volunteering efforts by Civil Organizations and the Public Donations received electronically as a crowd-sourced funding to revive the Economic Impact of the Pandemic
