25th UN/INTOSAI Symposium on “Working during and after the pandemic: Building on the experience of supreme audit institutions for strengthening effective institutions and achieving sustainable societies”

The Symposium, co-organized by UNDESA and the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), brings together representatives from supreme audit institutions, the United Nations, international organizations, resource experts and relevant stakeholders to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on the working methods, processes and audit work of supreme audit institutions. The symposium is organised along four main sub-themes: (i) Impact of COVID-19 on SAIs’ organizational capacities, working methods and processes; (ii) Experiences and good practices in auditing the COVID-19 responses and recovery plans; (iii) Innovative approaches to enhancing the transparency of and accountability for COVID-19 responses; and (iv) Resilient accountability systems and institutions in the aftermath of COVID-19.
Simultaneous interpretation in Arabic, English, French, German and Spanish will be provided.
